This week was our first time running Time Of The Month at Drink, Shop & Do. If you missed it, where were you? We put the call out announcing the new venue a little while ago.

We encouraged our funny ladies to get some tea and cake down their necks in prep for a packed evening of comedy. And I have to say, Drink, Shop & Do can definitely do cake. I’m a big fan of the generous slicing. They’ve also got an unusual range of tea – ever tried Assam and Darjeeling in the same teapot?

As usual, our night consisted of some fun improv games, comedy workshops, drinks and some stand-up performances. If you weren’t there, you missed character comedy, one-liners, observational humour and 2014 Funny Women Awards finalist Samantha Baines.

Funny Women’s Time Of The Month in London is actually skipping a month in August. Don’t worry, we’re not late! Just in Edinburgh doing lots of funny things for the Fringe. Our next meet will be on September 29th. Check the events page to book your place.

Can’t make it to London? We also now have a Time of the Month in Brighton, for more information click here!
