Looking at You Productions is invested in supporting the growth of LGBTQI film and filmakers through promotion, professional networks and other events. Last year as part of this mission they ran a successful networking lunch at BFI Flare, if you missed it – don't worry because they're doing it all over again this year on Wednesday 25th March!

Angie West, who runs Looking at You Productions with Jac Nunns said: "Being lesbian filmmakers means we are in a minority of the tiny amount of women making movies. So it is important to build networks as the magic of meeting someone in real life sparks off conversations and trust which are not possible only social networks.

"Looking at You Productions is committed to telling stories that are women and LGBTQI focussed. We wanted to create a fun warm welcoming space at BFI Flare where LGBTQI women making movies which tell stories about our lives, can make quick connections with like-minded women and allies of all genders and orientations. We welcome all those who want to make things happen for women."

All lunch attendees will be introducted to film professionals and distributors to enable them to expand their London and international networks.

Jac Nunns said: "Last year surpassed our expectations. It brought us into close quarters with Kate Johnston (Tru Love) with whom we are now collaborating. And we want other filmmakers to receive the same benefits"

So take you and your business cards out to lunch!
