Yesterday ‘The Sun’ newspaper made a few modest changes to one of its most famous traditions. The No More Page Three campaign has had what could be classed as a little victory and prompted the paper to cover up the usually topless Page Three model.

What was known as Blue Monday shall henceforth be known as the day the Murdoch nipples died.

It seems ‘The Sun’ had hoped to make the change with little fanfare but Harriet Harman has vowed not to let the news be buried. Harriet told the BBC Radio 4 Today programme that: It won’t be quiet – we will be making sure it is not quiet.

“We do think that, in a newspaper that is about news, the idea of a girl standing there in her knickers with some sort of pseudo political quote really is not the representation of women’s role in this country that I want to see.”

Because we are all about positivity, we like stand up Sara Pascoe’s idea to help the fight for women’s equality. The comedian suggested at Raise a Laugh for Refuge last week, that we all go to work naked with the result of promoting the wonderful diversity in women’s bodies and ridding us of any shame over our physical form.
