Snow. Wind. Rain. Sleet. Fog.  January can feel a bit of a hard slog sometimes, even without the gloomy weather. So it’s a good thing we have such a whopping great show in the middle of the month to look forward to this New Year, eh?

We’re incredibly excited about the great line-up for Raise A Laugh For Refuge on Wednesday 14th January at Kings Place, London.  Representing the best British female comedy talent including Bridget Christie, Sara Pascoe, Roisin Conaty and many more, plus a special reading by Guardian and Stylist columnist Lucy Mangan.

Refuge relies on donations to provide life-saving services, which are especially important over the holiday period. 100% of the ticket money from Raise A Laugh goes directly to Refuge.

So if you’re left pretty underwhelmed by your presents this year (no more novelty socks auntie, I beg of you), then treat yourself to a night of laughter with friends instead. Every ticket also comes with a free drink and a Benefit Cosmetics goody bag worth over £25. Now that really is a gift that keeps on giving.

Date: Wednesday 14th January 2015, 7.30pm

Tickets: £20. Purchase tickets here

Venue: King’s Place, Hall One, 90 York Way, London N1 9AG
