The Musical Comedy Awards 2015 are well underway and 2014 Funny Women Awards winner Jayde Adams has reached the semi-finals with her operatic comedy stylings.
Jayde is in good company, now in its seventh year the Musical Comedy Awards has introduced fabulous acts such as Frisky and Mannish, Abandoman and Jay Foreman to the increasingly popular musical comedy scene.
Now we are fast approaching the all important battle to see which six acts will get to compete at the Musical Comedy Awards final on Friday 10th April at the Bloomsbury Theatre. Jayde will be performing at the second semi-final on Saturday 28th March at The Phoenix at 2.15pm. The event will be hosted by one half of comedy duo Horse & Louis Nick Horseman and headlined by The Now Show's Mitch Benn.
The winner of the Musical Comedy Awards will recieve £500, there will also be £300 for the audience favourite and £200 for the WeGotTickets Best Newcomer.
The prizes will be £500 for the winner, £300 for the 'audience favourite' (selected by our sponsors WeGotTickets based on) plus £200 for the WeGotTickets Best Newcomer.
