Did everyone have a lovely weekend?

Judging from the pile of comment cards we got back, those of you who came along to our Accidental Conference with Guardian Women in Leadership had a fabulous time on Saturday. Thanks to everyone who joined in, whether you were leading a workshop or taking notes from the third row.

Check the #AccidentalConference hashtag on Twitter to see some of the highlights.

We kicked off with a panel on the value of volunteering and the importance of female role models. Well, we already know that they’re important – but have you ever considered becoming one? Hopefully we didn’t give everyone too much to think about at 11am on a Saturday…

After refilling their mugs and grabbing some biscuits, our delegates headed off to their workshops. Our own Lynne Parker did two sessions of Stand Up To Stand Out.

The ladies who chose to spend an hour in the basement with Twisted Loaf ended up bumping bums, so everyone had an action-packed morning.

We put on more workshops after lunch, with tips on writing, dressing for success and getting your ‘mojo’ back. A bit more sedate!

Our second afternoon panel discussed women in politics and public life – but thankfully not ‘the pink bus’, otherwise we’d have been there all night.

To end the day, the lovely Lucy Cavendish talked motherhood, in the type of detail that had certain ladies in the room crying with laughter. With her daughter in the front row, she was clearly trying very hard not to vent too much!

All in all, a fab day – which many of you wanted to repeat, so stay tuned for the next one.
