We were delighted to see that some fantastic female led comedy is happening at Soho Theatre, one of Central London's most popular venues. Not only that but some of our favourite women comedians are on the refreshingly balanced bill!

We are hugely proud to see that 2013 Funny Women Awards winners Twisted Loaf are bringing their show 'Half Baked' as proved and risen during this year's Edinburgh Fringe, from Wednesday 5th until Saturday 8th November. The List said the double act's show "balances on a knife edge of genius and mental illness." We are biased, of course, but think they are definitely comedy geniuses!

Talking about the rise of new talent that comes through the Funny Women Awards, founder Lynne Parker says,  "It makes me feel really proud to see acts like Twisted Loaf programmed by respected venues like the Soho Theatre. They are in great company alongside some other award-winning acts like Lucy Beaumont and Angela Barnes who have both won the BBC New Comedy Award."

Twisted Loaf aren't the only Funny Women Award alumni to be at the Soho Theatre. 2004 Awards finalist Bridget Christie's new show 'An Ungrateful Women' kicks off on Monday 3rd and you have until Friday 21st November to see why the Telegraph describe Bridget's show as "Pretty much flawless".

2008 Funny Women Awards runner up Sara Pascoe is bringing her Foster's Edinburgh Comedy Award nominated show 'Sara Pascoe Vs History' from Saturday 22nd until Wednesday 26th November. Sara takes on her romantic history, existential theory and cultural insights to show us how everything that has happened shapes who we are today.

Due to being "knocked up like a 1950s teenager" Shappi Khorsandi missed 2013 but this year she has a new show 'Because I'm Shappi'Shappi shares her reflections on the good things and celebrates her less than direct path towards her dreams from Monday 17th until Saturday 29th November.

Lou Sanders has been causing a stir in the comedy world and you can find out why because she is 'In Another Great Show Again' on Thursday 27th until Saturday 29th November.

A trio of talent rounds off the celebratory atmosphere when the Birthday Girls debut at Soho Theatre with 'Party Vibes'their sketch comedy party with a cast of odd characters, off-beat sketches and try-hard dancing from Tuesday 9th until Saturday 13th December.

Can't wait?  Find out more about the lively programme at the Soho Theatre by clicking here!  We'll see you there!
