Remember that new Crooked Pieces podcast project we mentioned back in the summer? Well – fanfare please – we’re delighted to announce that Crooked Pieces have released of the pilot episode of 'And Then She said A Funny Thing…'

The show was created to showcase the work of female comedy writing talent, and features bite-sized sketches, songs, spoken word and more from some of the funniest women around.
Crooked Pieces were blown away by the response to their call for submissions for the pilot episode (you sent them a whopping 560!), they finally settled on a line up of 16 brilliant pieces and recorded them with a crack a team of performers and creatives in front of a packed house at Clapham Omnibus.
In this episode the Funny Things bring us some unusual horoscopes, take a look at some eyebrow-raising early drafts of Jane Austen's most famous works, and observe one singleton's unorthodox approach to finding love.
