Graham Ball tells us that he is sixty two years old, but feels he looks a lot older. Apparently, he has no real skills whatsoever but has made the most of what he has. He has two sons, and lives in Richmond. In a previous life, he was a decidedly average accountant and then went on to start a financial services company which he ran for twenty eight years and sold in 2008.
He plays what he calls “golf”, rides a motorbike which wobbles, and enjoys gardening and carousing, despite telling us that has no sense of humour or friends.
Graham is Chairman of The Victoria Foundation, which owns The New Victoria Hospital in Kingston, which he also chairs, and is also the charity that he is raising money for. Building on this legacy, the Victoria Foundation offers support in four key areas: mobility aids for children, medical bursaries, accessible transport, and medical treatment. The Victoria Foundation works hard to improve the lives of those who need medical care, and aid the training of future generations of doctors.
