Sara Pascoe vs The Apocalypse – Sara Pascoe Review

Sara is the woman who is going to save the human race from extinction – when the apocalypse comes round, she and an unwitting man from the audience will set sail into the nuclear sunset to procreate a new civilisation. They’ll survive because her father is a cockroach, so presumably her male companion will somehow absorb her resistance to nuclear fallout.

Such is Sara’s world – a crazy stream of consciousness that somehow meanders its way into engaging and enticing comedy. Her hand-written list converted to a slideshow is testaments to her attempt at organisation and this is a show with substance. Already a well-respected comic actor who has appeared in The Thick of It, The Increasingly Poor Decisions of Todd Margaret, and was one of the funniest parts of Channel 4’s Campus, her show is a comedic journey and you’ll be glad you came along for the ride.
