Hi all….hope everyone is enjoying the sunshine. It is a week since I started my JanePlan diet and I’ve had ups and downs (Resisted cakes at a comedy gig but fell fowl of tempting pies at a festival!). But I haven't felt physically hungry, clearly it's all in my head. I do wish they would stop eating nice food on Corrie this week though- you know that feeling when you watch tv and see Kevin Webster with a bit of pizza and you think about it all day? The pizza …not Kevin Webster!

A week ago I weighed myself on the Wii Fit as a starting point and was informed that I had put on a lot of weight since last time (287 days ago to be exact!).  I watched as the little animated 'me' on the tv screen expanded before my eyes!

Had a mainly good week and ate some lovely food but also had a few 'non willpower' moments, but am pleased to report I am 5 pounds lighter in a week! I won't be going to ASDA in a bikini just yet but it's a start.

Last week went to 'How the Light Gets In', a festival in Hay on the Wye. Had a good time with the fellow Funny Women team, especially Iona Dudley-Ward with her Edinburgh show preview and my favourite lady 'Chastity Butterworth'. Look out for this prim woman in her button up blouse, she’s hilarious. The road trip had lots of laughs with a particularly amusing incident I shall call, 'fumbling for a falafel'. We like to top the driver up with snacks on motorway, you see!

I'm excited this week as my brother coming to visit from Devon so I've done a shop for some treats for him. I am hoping to stay away from the 'Simon shelf' and stick to my JanePlan; I'm meeting up with Jane tomorrow to keep me on track. Should I wear spanx/girdle? My brother and I are going to see US comedian Jerry Seinfeld on Friday. It’s his only UK show and I'm looking forward to it. Will be good to check out the 02 Arena for when I do my one woman show there….(well….you never know, if that Terminator Man and strange dog act can make it to semi final of BGT…maybe there’s hope for me??!) It’s off to Glasgow for Race For Life on Sunday….the tutu will be a little less snug this time! See you there ….not too late to enter!

Bye for Now!
