Q&A : Jessie Nixon, Don’t Make Me Regret This

Don’t Make Me Regret this is a raucous and cheeky but sometimes astute excavation of what it means to be what I call ‘freelance hot’ ie I don’t have a permanent contract with hotness and I make my own hours which means the patriarchy doesn’t really know what to do with me. It’s got poems and confessions and some actually really good jokes. It’s an anthem for every girl who got ignored at the under 18s nightclub while acne ridden louts flirted with her friends.
