Comedians Olga Koch and Catherine Bohart are launching Tonsil Hockey Podcast, a new daily comedy podcast dedicated entirely to their rapidly escalating obsession with Heated Rivalry, the wildly popular “gay hockey show” that has taken over their lives.

Launching on 26 January, Tonsil Hockey Podcast will be available on all podcast platforms, with video episodes on YouTube. The podcast offers deep, episodic analysis, fan reactions, news, and increasingly unhinged takes on the show, all from the perspective of two bisexual women who have lost all sense of themselves since first streaming the show..

Since discovering Heated Rivalry, Koch and Bohart have become, by their own admission, unbearable. It’s the first thing they think about when they wake up and the last thing they think about before they go to sleep. Their friends and families are exhausted. So they’ve done the only responsible thing: turned it into content in the hopes of finding other freaks just like them.

Each episode of the podcast will track the show episode-by-episode, combining close reading, emotional spirals, and cultural commentary with the kind of chaos only two people in the throes of a shared fixation can provide.

“We’ve tried talking to our friends about Heated Rivalry and they’ve reached the end of their tether, they’ve asked us to stop,” said Olga Koch. “With this podcast, we’re hoping to find a community of equally unhinged people to share in this obsession with.”

“It has lit an actual fire under us,” added Catherine Bohart. “Creatively, emotionally, spiritually. We’re hornier, we’re louder, and we have a lot of thoughts about hockey, gay male sex, and BUMS..”

Produced independently, Tonsil Hockey Podcast is a fast-turnaround, daily show reacting in real time to new episodes, fandom discourse, and breaking news – and is aimed at comedy fans and anyone already deep in the Heated Rivalry spiral.

You can catch the first episode of Tonsil Hockey here, launching 26th January 2026.
