Derry Girls Nicola Coughlan and Sex Education’s Aimee Lou Wood are making a comedy film set in dark age Britain, called Seize Them! which begins filming today in Kent and Wales.
The script is by Andy Riley, directed by Curtis Vowell and co-stars Lolly Adefope and Jessica Hynes, so you can’t go wrong on this one.
Wood will star as Queen Dagan, who has recently fallen from power by a revolt led by Coughlan’s Humble Joan. Now a fugitive in her own land with a bounty on her head, Queen Dagan enlists the help of former servant Shulmay, played by Adafope and ambitious ‘shit-shoveller’ Bobik, played by Nick Frost. together they face all manner of danger in order to win back the throne.
