2017 Funny Women Awards winner Thanyia Moore has joined the cast of Sophie Willan’s semi-autobiographical sitcom Alma’s Not Normal, alongside Dave Spikey and Ben Willbond.
Thanyia isn’t the only Funny Women Awards winner on the cast, 2014 winner Jayde Adams will be returning as Alma’s best friend Leanne.
Sophie Willian said: “I’m delighted that filming is underway for series one of Alma’s Not Normal, and even happier to be working alongside such a fantastic group of actors! We can’t wait for audiences to learn more about Alma’s world and the eclectic mix of characters that surround her.”

While a release date is yet to be announced, we can’t wait to see the show!
