Disney has announced that award-winning writer and performer Phoebe Waller-Bridge is now connected to yet another legendary franchise and set to star in the new Indiana Jones film. Waller-Bridge will appear alongside Indy himself, Harrison Ford in the fifth instalment in July 2022.
Director James Mangold said: “I’m thrilled to be starting a new adventure, collaborating with a dream team of all-time great filmmakers
“When you add Phoebe, a dazzling actor, brilliant creative voice and the chemistry she will undoubtedly bring to our set, I can’t help but feel as lucky as Indiana Jones himself.”
Waller-Bridge has also appeared in Solo: A Star Wars Story and wrote on the James Bond film No Time to Die.
