Days after it was announced that The Mash Report would no longer air, it has been revealed that one of the show’s newsreaders, comedian Ellie Taylor is set to record a second series of her BBC Radio 4 show Safe Space.
In her show Safe Space Taylor and comedian Robin Morgan – whose role is to ‘keep things civil’ – discuss their takes on controversial subjects. In the first series, they addressed motherhood, masculinity, the environment and monogamy and this series promises a new round of subjects for the pair to examine or get angry over.
The next round of four half-hour episodes will be recorded in front of a remote virtual audience, you can apply for free tickets on the BBC website.
This news comes hot on the heels of Taylor’s announcement that she is writing a book reflecting on her experience so far of motherhood, which will be published in July 2022 called My Child And Other Mistakes: How to ruin your life in the best way possible.
