Funny Women

We are back for Lockdown 2 sharing what online projects comedians are getting up to. Lockdown is a difficult time for everyone, but for comedians it means loss of income and opportunities to try out material and build audiences. Support your favourite funny women by buying them a Ko-fi, sharing links to their work and following them on their social media. Here is what we have spotted this week!

There’s a new podcast in town, if you like your comedy spooky then listen to Charlie Dinkin and Zoë Tomalin’s Seancecast. The sketch show features writing and performances from some of our favourite womxn comedians and it’s produced by Hat Trick. To subscribe click here!

Esther Manito hosts brand new podcast No Nation. In this show Esther invites her guests to discuss what it means to have multiple identities and to grow up between two countries, two cultures, two religions, two cuisines etc, etc. Guests from the world of comedy, academia, law, journalism, TV and sports to chat over their heritage, traditions, culture clashes and experiences of being duel heritage in modern-day Britain. Helen Bauer and Rosie Jones (aka Daddy) are back with a fourth series of their podcast Daddy Look at Me! In this series the pair interview married couple Marcus Brigstocke and Rachel Parris for their first episode, which you can listen to here!
