Comedian, presenter and writer Sue Perkins is returning to London Zoo, where she will host Nature Table; a new BBC Radio 4comedy series celebrating the natural world and all its funny eccentricities.
In the vein of the ‘show and tell’ format, Sue will be joined by celebrity guests from the world of comedy and natural history, as well as a studio audience and London Zoo staff. The guests will bring an item to the nature table and share some enlightening and funny discussion all relating to the world of natural history, alongside challenges and games to reveal even more facts.
Nature Table aims to positively celebrate and promote the importance of all our planet’s wonderfully wild flora and fauna.
Comedy producer Simon Nicholl created the programme said: “I’m an enthusiastic nerd on wildlife – I’m a keen whale and bird watcher. I want to make something that’s properly funny and informative at the same time – mixing wildlife experts with comics, while also hearing related funny anecdotes from the studio audience.”
Nature Table airs on Monday 10th February at 18:30 on BBC Radio 4. For tickets to be in the audience click here!
