The standard was exceedingly high and judging this wasn’t easy for our comedy industry panels… But after much deliberation, we can now announce the finalists for the 2019 Funny Women Awards Comedy Writing and Comedy Shorts categories!
The Comedy Writing Award judging panel, Bafta Rocliffe founder and producer, Farah Abushwesha; award-winning comedy actor, Shobu Kapoor; writer of Channel 4’s Pure, Kirstie Swain; Casarotto Ramsay, creative agency for film, theatre, comedy and television’s Ellen Gallagher and writer and comedian Rosie Jones have picked the following finalists:
