Susan Calman’s whodunnit show Armchair Detectives might have been cancelled after just one series, but this hasn’t stopped it being nominated for a Scottish Bafta. The BBC One daytime show is up for Best Entertainment Show
The comedian tweeted the news: “We haven’t got a second series. Cast and crew were all wonderful and I’d hoped to continue our murderous journey together but sadly it’s farewell to Mortcliff. Thanks to everyone who watched and loved it as much as we did.”
The show features three amateur detectives who solve a crime by watching out for clues in footage presented to them as they relaxed in armchairs. With her degree in law and forensic science, Susan was the perfect host for the show.
The winners will be announced on 4th November.
