2015 Funny Women Awards winner Desiree Burch is one of a fantastic comedy line up for this year’s Sex Appeal. The comedy fundraiser has been going since 2012, all in aid of Brook, the UK’s leading sexual health and wellbeing charity for young people.
Desiree will be joined by some of our favourite comedians, Abigoliah Schamaun, Ahir Shah, Al Murray, Ed Byrne, Johnny Cochrane, Mae Martin, Richard Herring, Scott Capurro, 2014 Funny Women finalist Sindhu Vee, and special guest Sophie Ellis Bextor on Saturday 21st January at the Conway Hall, London
Sex Appeal is the brainchild of writer Zoe Margolis, who is a passionate supporter of Brook. The first Brook service was established in 1964 by Helen Brook to provide contraception and advice to unmarried women. Today Brook is the only charity working with young people under 25 to promote their sexual health in the wider context of health and wellbeing, so it’s well worth supporting.
