Funny Women is part of a creative team that has now won not one but two awards for an innovate initiative to improve diversity and awareness of unconscious bias in the workplace. The successful #icantbelieveisaidthat campaign for JLL has won the Internal Communications award at the BIMA Awards 2016.

The BIMA Awards are the longest standing and most prestigious digital awards in the UK. For over 30 years the annual event has served to recognise excellence within the UK digital industry by celebrating the best in British digital. 33 prizes were awarded across sectors and disciplines, from consumer and retail to education and public life.

The #icantbelieveisaidthat campaign is a series of short comedy films that address racism, ageism, gender stereotyping, homophobia and mental health. It is part of JLL’s work towards increasing diversity and inclusion across its UK business.

The films were scripted by www.funnywomen.com’s editor Kate Stone,  and directed by James McCarthy who filmed the shorts with his Odd Man Out team.

Earlier this year the campaign won an award for Best Use of Humour at the Corporate Comms Awards.
