Grand Scheme Media have announced a new intensive comedy writing for television course. Presented by industry professionals who can explain to you how the often baffling commissioning system works and how to make it work for you.

Learn how to improve your narrative structure, focus on what viewers want and find out how best to approach production companies and broadcasters with your scripts, with information on key industry contacts.

Course leaders Graham Smith and Mark Robson have years of experience both in making and commissioning comedy, ideal for helping you understand the TV comedy business and getting your ideas to the right person at the right time.

The workshop also provides feedback on your ideas and scripts, offering practical advice on layout, duration and script editing. You are also encouraged to think on your feet as you are challenged to come up with concepts for a range of channels. Gah!

The course takes place on Thursday 28th July at 10.00am and Friday 29th July at 5.30pm. Tickets are £154. For more information and to book click here!
