Closing the first night of comedy in our Funny Women Festival, Katie Mulgrew, a Funny Women Runner-up in 2007, is instantly likeable. Watching her perform is a welcome dose of accessible, endearing comedy that takes true talent to deliver with such breeze.

Naturally engaging, she holds the attention of the audience with ease in an hour that went by quickly. Despite a little lacking in distinctive material in some parts, you firmly decide you want to be her friend as she fills the room with honest and infectious warmth.

This was a lovely show and we are so excited to catch it at the Fringe in August.
