This year’s Awards have broken all records with over 400 women entering for the Stage category alone.
We are still accepting entries for the Comedy Writing and Comedy Shorts Awards plus don’t forget to check out the new Best Show category. Remember that the writing and short film awards have equal status this year to the live award so why not give it a go?
Given the limitations of just four Regional Finals we had our work cut out to choose 40 acts to go through so here are our ‘Ones to Watch’ list of up and coming new talent that nearly made the grade. We really expect to see them go far over the next year and make the Regional Finals in 2017…

Getting through to this stage is an achievement and we really want to support and praise all of you who entered this year. Some of you were on first ever gigs and others have been performing for nearly five years. Our job is to look at the potential and, if you haven’t gone through or made this list, we can provide feedback to help with your performance going forward.
We are available to help and advise at our Time of the Month bootcamps and scratch nights, that are an ideal opportunity to speak to our team and try out new material. The next one takes place on Tuesday 26th July at the Betsey Trotwood.
