Following her sell-out stand-up debut in 2015, Viv Groskop, 2012 Funny Women Awards Finalist and Maestro Impro winner, brings a brand new show on snobbery, class, Britishness and The Good Life – all fuelled entirely by gin – to the Edinburgh Fringe and she’s previewing the show with us on the Good Shop Benefit.

Benefit Boat

Self-consciously middle-class, Viv asks if we should be classless now that we’re ‘all in it together’, or is it time to assert our inner reactionary and be more Margo? BBC Radio 4’s Viv Groskop is a comedian, writer, TV critic, resident agony aunt for The Pool and, for six long years, she was the Guardian’s official Downton Abbey correspondent. Her book I Laughed, I Cried: How One Woman Took On Stand-Up and (Almost) Ruined Her Life reached number one on the Amazon Comedy bestseller chart and was one of the Independent’s comedy books of the year. Viv is a passionate sequinned jumpsuit enthusiast, a laissez-faire parent of three children and fervent enemy of the avocado.

Viv is previewing her show Be More Margot on The Good Ship Benefit on Wednesday 6th July! Don’t miss it, for more information and tickets click here!
