A teaser ad for Absolutely Fabulous: The Movie has been released. It features Edina and Patsy living the high life in what seems to be a drinks commercial – but could be one of Eddy’s daydreams in which she is the glamorous woman she wants to be.
This is the first we’ve seen of the official film so far, though it already has met with controversy. Last year comedian Margaret Cho expressed her frustration on Twitter at Janette Tough appearing in yellow face as a Japanese fashion designer in the film.
This summer we will see the Ab Fab cast reunited on the big screen. The film follows a fall and rise story of Eddy and Patsy as they disgrace themselves at a fashion launch party and escape to the French Riviera.
