Sod your flowers. Keep your soppy cards. The best thing we got on Valentine’s Day was this 30-second teaser for… the TRAILER for the new Ghostbusters movie.

Yes, a trailer for a trailer. And we still loved it. Here it is:

Admittedly, there is no sign of our leading ladies (Melissa McCarthy, Kristin Wiig, Leslie Jones, and Kate McKinnon) in this clip. That’s a shame. But it’s reaffirmed in our minds that this is happening. Proper happening, and soon. With the real trailer set for March 3rd, it’s less than 3 weeks until we can see more.

Did you hear those piano notes at the end? That’s the Ghostbusters theme tune we know and love. There seems to be a trend for putting slow, haunting piano versions of movie tunes into their remakes. Just look at Jurassic World.

The movie poster’s also been released:

While the casting has changed to give women the leading roles (and it’s about time), the imagery and tagline have a clear case of ‘if-it-ain’t-broke-don’t-fix-it’-itis.

When it’s time to book those cinema tickets, who are you gonna call?
