Hooray! The time has finally come!

The Funny Women Awards have been scouring the UK and Ireland searching for the best new female comic talent since May, and boy did we find some.

We’ve seen sketch groups, ukuleles, improvised musicals, and lots of good old fashioned stand-up, plus we have raised money for domestic violence charity, Refuge.

Thanks to all the amazing acts who came and braved the stage. Each year we are blown away by the amount of talent out there, and this year was no exception.

So, without further ado, let’s check out the talented, hilarious women going through to the semi-finals in London on 23rd and 25th July at Rada Studios, the 24th July in Brighton and Edinburgh on the 14th August as part of the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

We can’t wait to laugh along with this talented bunch!
