My free gift is a 15-minute consultation over Skype or on the telephone to explore your comedic potential. This could be in the context of your work as a speaker or facilitator, managing groups of people, or creatively if you plan to perform, write or want to explore the world of comedy.
My advice is impartial and unbiased although I do come from the unique position of having seen literally thousands of women perform in our Funny Women Awards and shows over the last 15 years, as well as seeing lots of live comedy at events and festivals.
I am not personally a practising comedian, preferring and enjoying my role as a producer, facilitator and coach. I really do believe that I could not do what I do if I was also a comedian – if I wanted to be on stage myself, that’s what I would be doing! Instead I have the ability to recognise talent in other people and employ a range of techniques to give you the confidence and tools to get up and perform. This is very much my passion and I get my reward by seeing the people I have encouraged to perform grow and develop into brilliant comics and presenters.
