Last autumn Crooked Pieces released the pilot of the  'And Then She Said A Funny Thing' podcast – a brand new audio treat designed to get brilliant work by the funniest women writers out there and into people's ears, dammit.

Now we're hoping to create loads more Funny Things, with lots of opportunities for writers to submit and develop work, get it performed and record it on a sort of modern tape thingy for the all the interweb to hear.

And we need your help!

Turns out making podcasts (not to mention writers' workshops and live recordings) is a bit pricey.

So we've launched a Kickstarter campaign to help raise the dollar to make 'Funny Thing' a 'Regular Thing'.

If you're one of the top humans who backs it by pledging some of your hard-earned cash, we'll write you a limerick. Or send you a film of us doing a funny dance. Or even name a character after you in episode two.

Basically, we'll adopt you into the Funny Thing family. Whether you like it or not.

If that sounds nice, please pledge us a few pounds. Now's your chance to be part of something hilarious.

You can donate to our Kickstarter here!
