Advancing Your Performance

James Burns

I have performed and presented many times in my various careers and remain eternally open to feedback and advice from others.  The opportunity to do this with a kindred spirit, or a group of people who you trust, doesn’t come along that often so I am always keen to embrace or, in this case, to provide this to our community.

We run Advanced Workshops for those of you who have either got a bit of performing or presenting experience under your belt and want to find ways to ‘up your game’ in a supportive and likeminded environment.  They are always enlightening, for us as well as the participants, and careers have been created out of them.  It is an opportunity to try out ideas and material on a captive and engaged audience who have just as much vested in the exercise as you!

So, with 2015 looming, are you going to embrace the next stage?  Are you going to perform on the comedy circuit or sign yourself up to speak at that conference or business event?  Remember that people buy you and from you, so selling yourself is the first priority.

There are still a few places left for the Advanced Workshop at Leicester Square Theatre on Saturday 6th December, which will be run by Lucy Frederick, Awards finalist and one of our fabulous Funny Women Players

We will also be launching our fantastic new look workshop programme for 2015 before Christmas and can promise new topics, venues and concepts to help you to perform and speak in public with confidence and humour. Watch this space!

To book now for the Advanced Workshop please visit our event page here for details.  Discount available for Funny Friends, BFFs and Funny Women Awards alumni – if you haven’t received a special mailing with your discounted booking link, please email info@funnywomen.com and we will save you a place.
