Avon, Glamour Magazine and domestic violence survivor Charli Bailey have teamed up to launch a campaign to raise awareness of domestic violence as well as fundraise for Women's Aid and Refuge

Together they hope to break down the wall of silence surrounding the issue. For every shh selfie posted on Twitter or Instagram with the hashtag #wallofsilence Avon will donate £1 to Refuge and Women's Aid. If you want to take part but don't have Twitter or Instagram you can upload your shh selfie directly to the website here

It is a great opportunity to raise money for such an important cause. It's easy to take part, Refuge have even come up with a tweet to inspire you if you are stuck for 140 characters. "Upload your 'shh!' selfie with the hashtag #wallofsilence, and @Avon_UK will donate £1 to @womensaid and @RefugeCharity"

Charli says: "My Wall of Silence campaign is about everyone in society coming together and taking a stand not only against domestic violence but the fact that we are not talking enough about a crime that kills two women in the UK every week.

I hope you will show your support by uploading your picture and joining us in standing up for women everywhere. Women like me. Women like you."

You can see all the photos that have been submitted on the Wall of Silence web page to help break the silence, spread the word about domestic violence and raise money to help protect those suffering.
