Jana and her Mum Heidi have had a 33 year relationship; there have been highs, lows, infrequent phone calls, frequent cuttings from magazines and emails full of information about next doors cat.

This show explores relationships between mothers and daughters, it is bursting over with motherly advice, embarrassing stories, quiz games, a disco dance off and a quick game of charades!

"The comical mother and daughter show gives you a glimpse into an unconventional and endearing relationship. Jana Kennedy is clearly an experienced comedian with fantastic timing." The Huffington Post

Let Jana and Heidi take you on a truthful, honest, and funny, journey looking at the relationships we have with family and how funny, heartbreaking and comforting these can be at The Lowry Studio after a successful run at Edinburgh Fringe.

Jana is a skilled, likeable performer and comedian living in Manchester. She got a degree from Manchester University, and has trained in Paris in Bouffon and Clown, and uses both these devises in creating her work. Jana has co-created this show with her real life mother – Heidi.

Heidi is 69 and worked in PR for 30 years. It was all Heidi's idea and Heidi who suggested that she and Jana create a show together after watching a young male comedian perform at the Brighton Fringe last summer, and deciding she could do as well – if not better!

Jana and Heidi are delighted to be supported by The Lowry and the Waterside Arts Centre.
