1) Full name:  Hannah Bananna aka HANNAH CHALMERS

2) Hometown:  London, although I'm originally from Norfolk.

3) What/who is your comedy inspiration?

Steve Coogan. I really enjoy creating characters. I'd like to create a show like his 'Live 'n' Lewd' and 'The Man Who Thinks He's It' shows. I love Morgana Robinson's character, Gilbert. I also love surreal comedy like Monty Python and Sam Simmons.

4) How long have you been performing comedy?

My first ever stand-up gig was in April earlier this year at the showcase of the course I did at the Comedy School. I first performed as Hannah Bananna in June at the Funny Women Awards heats. Prior to the stand-up, I've been performing character comedy in the form of my one-woman play, 'Stripped': www.strippedshow.com

5) How does it feel to be in the Funny Women Awards Final?

Very exciting! I'm so chuffed to be through to the final. I'm really looking forward to introducing Hannah Bananna to the Leicester Square Theatre audience and hopefully making at least a few people wet their pants.
