A fragile, diminutive figure totally belies the indomitable spirit which quickly becomes evident. Cowed by a food-obsessed mother and a father she adored but who appeared somewhat ambivalent to her, Lynn-Ruth toughened up and stood her ground.
Two failed marriages and a series of health and eating disorder issues, she resorted to her inner child to overcome some catastrophic happenings in her life. Her realisation that “angels never leave you” was her turning point.
And now at 80 she is enjoying the time of her life and still has so much to offer – not least in inspiration to others.
