If you're still stuck for ideas of what to see in Edinburgh, then we suggest 'Girl on Fire', we're assured by Abbie Murphy: "Not literally, that would be totes horrif!"

Meet Stephanie Vange, an endearingly unaware Essex girl, looking to find her place in the world. Clambering through her attempts at success, stardom love and life. Witness her epic fail! This girl is on fire 100%!

Watch the loveable Essex girl, Stephanie Vange, transform herself, from PJ’s to party wear! Witness her phone addiction, social media obsession and love for her crush Bobby. See life through Stephanie’s naïve eyes. Her sole motivation is to be ‘living the dream,’ she’s just not quite sure what that is yet!  Desperate to fit in, we see the exaggerations, and falsities, she hiding behind. Stephanie is wonderfully unaware of how ridiculous she is!

Written and performed by Abbie Murphy, 'Girl on Fire' is her first Edinburgh Fringe solo show. Dancer turned actress/comedienne, previously seen as a dancer in the Bafta nominated BBC 3’s Bollywood Carmen. Abbie is fast becoming a regular on the comedy circuit in London, performing in line up’s with Birthday Girls, and Aisling Bea. She recently filmed a role in Matt Lucas’ new visual comedy series, 'Pompidou' which airs on BBC 1 and Netflix in 2015.

You can see 'Girl on Fire' at the Counting House, from Friday 1st August to Sunday 24th August. for more information click here!
