Harriet Kemsley has been doing stand up since 2011, and in that short time she's won award after award. She was also one of comedian Rhod Gilbert's Top Ten Comics to See in 2012 and last year supported 2008 Funny Women Awards winner Katherine Ryan on tour.

Last night the comedian was sharing her irrational fears with the Brighton Fringe upstairs at the Quadrant. Having checked first that her grandma was not in the room Harriet proceeded to share her fears in the hope that someone in the audience would identify with her, as her mother promised. Turns out according to last night's audience and reviews Harriet's fears are weird and quirky.

The show 'The Irrational Fears of Rillettes' is currently still a work in progress, but Harriet rarely had to check her notes and her delivery was fluid, friendly and charmingly confident. Even with the world's most baffling heckler in the audience who didn't seem to understand that the nature of comedy usually means there's going to be a twist in the tale.

We learned about Harriet's wide range of allergies her regular appearances on the dating app TinderNot as a user, just as someone who seems to appear in the background of many a Tinder photo "like Where's Wally". One of Harriet's irrational fears has her accessorising in an unusual way, but better safe than sorry.
