Here at Funny Women, we are big supporters of the charity, Refuge, which provides support for women and children against domestic violence. In fact it is our charity of the year again, having supported the cause throughout last year's Funny Women Awards.  Needless to say, we are proud to do it all over again!

So we are extra specially delighted that Titter Productions have also thrown their cap into the ring to pull together another all-out celebration of female comedy to raise funds for Refuge.

The show features a stellar line up of female comedy talent and takes place at The Book Club, London on Wednesday 21st May.  We have seen most of the acts on the Funny Women stage either in our Awards or regular showcase nights, and feel very proud that so many of these acts go on to have amazing careers.

Here is who is going to make you titter over the course of this amazing evening;

That Pair – exciting sketch duo who were finalists in the 2012 Funny Women Awards and have achieved acclain with their sell out shows at the Edinburgh Fringe.

Rachel Parris – superbly hilarous songstress who was runner up in our 2010 Awards. "She has us hanging on her every unlikely lyric and naive, self-revealing word," says The Guardian

Bridget Christie – first discovered by us in 2004 when she reached the final of the Funny Women Awards. She has gone on to win one of the biggest prizes in comedy last year at the Edinburgh Fringe: the Foster's Edinburgh Comedy Award 2013.

Lou Sanders – as seen on Russell Howard's Good News and Stewart Lee's Alternative Comedy Experience.

Luisa Omielan – fresh from a UK tour of her critically acclaimed show 'What Would Beyoncé Do?"

Ellie White – as seen on BBC3's Live at the Electric and Radio 4's Fresh From the Fringe.

Aisling Bea (MC) – with a string of television appearances on 8 Out of 10 Cats, Russell Howard's Good News and Dead Boss, under her belt, Aisling won 'So You Think You're Funny' in 2012.

Doors open at 7.00pm. Tickets are £8 advance, £10 on the door. For more information click HERE!
