Two weeks ago, Funny Women returned to our resident spot at Komedia for another hugely successful Brighton Nights. Headlined by Funny Women Awards winners Twisted Loaf, we were thrilled to kick off the season with a sold-out house – producer Rosana Farrar told us “It was a really warm crowd at the Komedia.”

If you missed out, don’t worry – there’s more fun to be had right here in the capital. This coming Saturday sees our next edition of London Nights at the Leicester Square Theatre. Hosted by the fabulous Lucy Frederick, last seen giving Edinburgh Fringe's audiences a lesson in how to be hip in In Pursuit of Cool, the line-up includes four (yes four!) of our Funny Women Awards 2013 finalists.

The brilliant Bisha Ali won the audience over at the Awards with her relatable and down-to-earth brand of comedy. She’ll be joined by the terrifically funny Rachel Gleaves (you’ll never listen to the Braveheart soundtrack in the same way again) and the whimsical poetry stylings of Becky Brunning. We’re also excited to see the return of Variety Awards winners Revan & Fennell, a sketch duo with bags of personality and a penchant for Tinie Tempah.

Last but not least, we’ve got a very special guest in the form of Gemma Layton – better known as alter-ego Mercedes Benson – bringing her tracksuits and now-viral Lidl song to the Leicester Square Lounge all the way from Lewisham. With a lineup this eclectic, this month’s outing is not one to be missed!

The next London Nights will be taking place at the Leicester Square Theatre Lounge on Saturday 11th October. For more information and to book tickets, click HERE.
