Are you a performer looking for gigs?  A brand new website called TalentGB will display your showreel and promote your act on a virtual stage which will be seen all over the UK.

What’s more, there’s a dedicated category for Female Comedians so agents and venues will be able to find you straight away and have a look at your act.

TalentGB is a brand new one-stop ‘talent shop’ for all artistes promising to put you in the company of 'bands, singers, musicians, magicians, mind readers and more.'  To support the launch and promote women in comedy universally we’ve arranged for all female comedians to have a FREE entry in this amazing new online entertainment directory.

It’s fast and simple to do as well.  Just click HERE to upload your showreel and booking details. You can even link to your website, Facebook or Twitter account. And there is plenty of room for your CV and any great reviews you may have!

There will be a charge of £19.99-a-year for each listing but the first 1,000 acts can register for free. However we’ve arranged for all female comedians to have a free slot until 1st May 2014.

The team from TalentGB will also be reviewing your acts, coming along to our Funny Women Awards to help with a bit of judging and featuring some of the acts who upload to the site on their front page!  A great partnership all round!

TalentGB founder Neville Thurlbeck said: ‘From Joyce Grenfell to Sarah Millican, via Victoria Wood and Jo Brand, female comedians have occupied A-list comedy slots since the days of the music halls.

‘Funny Women has helped nurture the careers of many up and coming stars of the comedy circuit over the last 10 years and we are delighted to be working with them on our stage to reach every corner of the British Isles.’
