Funny Women will be 'popping up' for the last 10 days of the world famous Edinburgh Fringe Festival in our very own venue!

We'll be creating our own unique boutique Fringe environment bringing you 10 days of brilliant programming from Thursday 15th August to Sunday 25th August 2013. Yep, we know that's 11 days but we'll be having a preview day with special ticket offers and celebrations on the 15th August.

Located at the sophisticated Le Monde Hotel on George Street, we're offering performers a supportive and friendly environment with flexibility that’s unique to us. Our audiences will be totally pampered in this lovely venue with its cocktail bar, library lounge and restaurant as well as enjoying our daily programme of comedy and variety shows, kids shows, panel discussions, semi-finals for the 2013 Funny Women Awards, workshops and more.

There will be up to eight shows a day including some new, hour-long shows of original comedy from fantastic comedians such as Ria Lina and Viv Groskop. Other highlights to look out for are Touched, a critically acclaimed play by Zoe Lewis, and spontaneously hilarious chat shows hosted by Lynn-Ruth Miller and Dolly Slateman.

As if this isn't enough, our marvellous friends at Benefit Cosmetics have agreed to get on board again and will be bringing make-uppers and give aways galore to make our popping up at the Fringe a truly glamorous experience.  The Benebus won't be far away and the wonderful Benebabes will be on hand with their down-to-earth and fun approach to making the most of yourself, inside and out!

Performers: Thinking of taking a show to Edinburgh?

We still have a few spaces left in our programme but act fast as the deadline to register your show with the Fringe Society is Wednesday 10th April 2013.

Performing with us at the Funny Women Pop Up Fringe is the perfect opportunity to stage a show at this incredible festival without the commitment of a full run. It’s up to you how many performances you would like to do and how long you would like to perform for and we are offering show slots of one hour or 30 minutes, plus a whole host of slots in our daily line-up shows.

If you are interested in performing or would like more information please email danica.priest@funnywomen.com
