Do you remember your times in the Girl Guides? Did it shape you into the woman you are today? Are you a member of the world-famous organisation and a declared feminist? Or does that word scare you? Back in November Girlguiding's Chief Executive sparked a discussion over whether Girlguiding was the ‘Ultimate feminist organisation’. If you didn't catch the discussion, you can find it HERE

At Funny Women Towers we were delighted to learn that tomorrow, Tuesday 26th February sees Girlguiding host the first of the events in their new Girlguiding Explores series:  Feminism – the F Word and Girls Today.

The event at Girlguiding HQ will bring Girlguiding members together with experts including the Guardian’s Jane Martinson, Kat Banyard from UK Feminista and the Editors of the Vagenda Blog, to discuss how girls view equality and feminism.

Girlguiding would love for you to get involved by joining in the discussion on Twitter. Use #GirlguidingExplores and #TalkFeminism to let them know your views.

Girlguiding will be live tweeting from the event and a Twitter stream will be displayed in the room for everybody to see what you have to say. For more information and to get involved click HERE
