There's no 'red or black' game of chance about tomorrow night's quarter final 'laugh off' of this year's Funny Women Awards.

Our new quarter final stage takes place tomorrow, Saturday 10th September, when 33 acts are put through their paces by a panel of experienced industry professionals.  The fate of the acts will be decided with a mix of interviews, performance skills and potential which will take place away from the general public.  Only the acts that the judges are not sure of will have to perform again in a live 'laugh off' at 8.00pm.  The audience will then have an opportunity to help to make the final cut by voting for the acts that they think should go through to Sunday's semi final at 4.00pm and 7.30pm.

The acts that we are seeing again tomorrow are:

Cerys Nelmes, Vanessa Bland, Sophie Buchan, Lara A King, Katie Friel, Sadia Azmat, The Under Dogs, Floyd Alexander Hunt, Sarah Arnold, Teresa Jennings.

Janet Bettesworth, Katie Tracey, Laura Carruthers, Bekka Bowling, Harriet Beveridge, Kerry Gilbert, Naomi Hefter, Katherine Bennett, Gabriella Burnal, Sarah Callaghan, Ruth Keeling.

Jill Baxter, Scarlet Lights, Rachel Slater, Emily Lloyd-Saini, Sara J Novak, Mel Moon, Lindsay Duncan, Women Live Longer, Lavinia Murray, Zoe Iqbal, Checkley & Bush.

Please come along and support the acts – you can BOOK HERE for tickets. The fabulously funny Sajeela Kershi hosts.

On Sunday 11th September, the remaining  24 semi finalists will perform in two live audience shows to determine which 12 go through to the charity final in two weeks time.  BOOK NOW for your opportunity to see some of the newest and best female acts we've seen from all over the UK hosted by the wonderfully talented Deborah Francis White.
