Jessica Ransom introduces us to a number of Unsung Heroes displaying a well thought-out script complete with PowerPoint and video interludes keeping the audience engaged and making the switch between characters appear effortless.
Throughout the piece, she shows her ability as an actress as well as a comedian through a varied character base from an aggressive yet well choreographed bounty hunter to the oppressed TV chef's wife and the blue screen suited Andy Serkis who warns the audience against touching him as "I might pixelate'.
With a fully involved audience which Ransom has dancing in their seats (I am now seeing Wayne Rooney and Peter Crouch from a slightly different angle!), touching her inappropriately and even sniffing her armits, she is quick to react to the audience and appears comfortable going off script.
One of the best things about this show, aside the variety of characters, is that Jessica is obviously enjoying herself and her characters as demonstrated by her exuberant exit. Great show Jessica or should I say, Steve!
